More and more, the internet is becoming a place to shop for
products and services. Its convenient, delivered to your door and often
reasonably priced. We are very thankful at Millennium Seating because we have
reaped the blessing of the internets growth in popularity.
If you are considering
purchasing your restaurant furniture from an internet provider, let me share
some things for you to consider. Has the company been in business a "safe"
number of years? Safe is defined as the number of years to solidify their
reputation and who they are.
How does the industry
in general, and better yet, previous customers specifically view this company
and its business practices? You are much safer in dealing with a company which
has impeccable integrity and lives by the "Golden Rule" of treating
their customers as they would desire to be treated.
There is another
advantage to working with a company who has matured in their industry; they
have the expertise and knowledge from years of experience to guide and direct
you to make the best furniture decision based on your needs.
Be leery of a business
which bases its total marketing program on the lowest price. Ask yourself; why
is this product so cheap?
Seriously, look at
their overall website and program. Do they make you comfortable in your
dealings with them? This is important and flows from the owner on down through
the total organization. Even on the internet it is good to do business with
people you trust.
It may not be important
to you, but I like to deal with companies who are responsible citizens that
support civic groups, military and other patriotic organizations; who's
business cares about and is good for the USA.
I've found it's also wise
to check the Better Business Bureau, Yelp, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. Do they
have a strong, honest presence on the web? Do their testimonials and customer
comments verify who they are and the values they stand for?
Put all this in your
mental processor and finally your gut will tell you if you are comfortable
trusting this company with your furniture business.
